Tommie's always had his own thing going on, which I've respected for years (circa Satellite Records 1997, Atlanta GA) and ever since we handed him a Kerowack vinyl 2 years ago in Miami, he's been playing our tracks and a big supporter.
For those of you who don't know Tommie...his collaborations have included Felix Da Housecat, James Murphy and Mylo; he has played everywhere from the Electroclash festivals in New York to Bjork's wrap party in Reykjavik to serving as DJ on Fischerspooner's North American tour to opening for New Order in London to Colette parties in Paris beside 2 Many DJs to Vice Magazine launch parties in Tokyo. As an established remixer, Tommie has retouched work from a diverse list including the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Elvis Presley, Pink, The Killers, 'Da Brat, Fischerspooner, The Faint, Kill Hannah, Ima Robot and Ladytron. www.tommiesunshine.com
